When Your Maid Arrives

Your maid will greet you and go over a quick questionnaire with you to ensure that all of your expectations are addressed. We use non-toxic, eco-friendly cleaning solutions that do not aggravate skin conditions, breathing problems, or otherwise exacerbate medical ailments. These same solutions leave your home feeling and smelling — well, like your home, and not like a sterilized hospital as other cleaning chemicals tend to do.

Is There Anything I Need to Do Before My Appointment?
Nothing in particular. Consult with our list of items that we cannot clean during the service to see if any of these few issues apply to you, but otherwise you will be good to go. Tidy TN team members are prepared to do some light recovery of any rooms scheduled for service. This includes stacking up children’s books, moving shoes to a closet, or other minor tidying-up that may be needed to conduct the necessary cleaning (these may not necessarily be organized in any particular fashion, however).

If there are pets in the home, please ensure that they are either secured in a room not being serviced or in a pet carrier/crate. We love animals, but for everyone’s safety we ask that they be contained.

When is the Payment Due?
During the scheduling of your appointment (book your cleaning here), you will be asked to enter in your credit card information. Similar to reserving a hotel room, this information will be maintained and processed upon the approved completion of the cleaning service. Online payment is not necessary, however. You can also make your payment to the servicing team member directly in cash or check, again upon the fulfillment of your appointment.
(Please note that a cancellation fee will be assessed to any cancellations made within 24 hours of the impending service).

Do I Need to be Home for the Cleaning?
The simple answer: No. Once you have booked your appointment online, one of our team members will contact you to discuss any particulars about the service. As part of this contact, just inform us of your planned absence and let us know how you would like us to access the home. If you wish to supply us with a key to your home, we will be more than happy to arrange a pick-up (supplying us with a copy of the key is extremely beneficial if you set up a regular cleaning schedule). You can inform us of the location of the key if you want to make one available the day of the appointment (we suggest not putting it under a door mat). Another option would be to provide us with the code to enter through your garage. Any method you choose will be kept confidential so as to protect your home.

What if I am Not Satisfied?
That is not possible! Our standards leave no room for dissatisfaction. Upon booking your appointment, when one of our team members contacts you, we will ask for any specific instructions required to perform the service. You will also be asked again upon the cleaner’s arrival, just to make sure nothing is forgotten. These notes are recorded on our detailed, room-by-room checklists which you will review upon completion of your home’s cleaning. If something was overlooked, your cleaner will not leave until the issue is resolved. This ensures your complete satisfaction with the service we provided!
